Lenin once stated "They will sell us the rope we will hang them with" 
as a way of explaining why Communists would defeat the Capitalist West. 
Lenin's Russia did not see a victory over America. But, his prophecy 
could be coming true today between the U.S. and Communist China through 
China's bid to buy U.S. oil giant Unocal. America's reliance on 
oil might be the noose the Chinese could hang us with.
