	July 12, 2012: Canary from a Coal Mine After the Spanish Prime Minister's speech, an estimated 70 people were injured after clashes broke out between police and protesters in the streets of Madrid. The crowd included a large turnout of coal miners, who say an end to government subsidies will kill their industry.
