	July 26, 2012: Tug of (Food) War The drought continues to bake the Midwest. The USDA is now reporting that food prices will start to increase next year. Much of the corn and soybean grown in the US is to feed livestock so the cost of meat will rise. Around the world food costs will soar because imports will be more expensive and food aid shortages may lead to food riots.
