Art at Work brings art to you. We specialize in hosting painting classes for companies and their employees. We set up a fully equipped self-contained art studio wherever we teach (conference rooms and cafeterias are ideal locations). After class, cleanup is quick, complete and done by the Art at Work staff. Individual and group classes are also offered out of our studio in downtown Washington, DC. Summer associate events, attorney retreats and employee appreciation days are perfect reasons to offer an Art at Work class at your company. Students will come away with a sense of accomplishment. Painting is also a great stress reliever, so enter our studio and enjoy! A lot of people say "I can't even draw a straight line." Not to worry. Art at Work is for all types of people. There is no right or wrong - just pure relaxation and fun. Throughout the Washington area, the response to this unique traveling art class has been overwhelming. Acrylic Painting
Participants paint a copy of a famous work of art. We provide the canvas, paints, paint brushes, easels and a color copy of the original painting. Students have the freedom to select a blank canvas or they may choose to paint by following the outlines on a pre-sketched canvas. They can try their hand at producing an exact copy, add their own creative touches, or create something completely original. Class begins with an overview of the supplies and how to work with them. Then, we begin painting. Instruction on acrylic painting techniques is provided throughout class. Cleanup is quick, complete and done by the Art at Work staff. The only evidence we leave behind is an impressive collection of new paintings. Click to view student paintings... |
