"31 Days in July" 2005
The "31 Days in July" project began in 2003 and continues again this July. I create one new painting per day in response to the daily news - capturing each day of July in a total of 31 paintings. I post the new paintings to my site as I complete them each day.

Paintings from Buenos Aires
February 9-17
In February of 2005, I traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina for a week. Each morning, I would explore Buenos Aires. I would paint in our hotel room for the remainder of each day. At night, I'd sketch at local pubs. These paintings were inspired by the music and dance of the city, religious iconography of the churches and local culture.
