Adams Morgan Festival
September 10 (Sunday) from 10am-7pm
For the 4th year in a row, Dana Ellyn will be selling her paintings and drawings at the 28th annual Adams Morgan Day/Arts on Belmont. Her newest small works will be available for $20. Dana Ellyn's paintings from her 2006 "31 Days in July" project will start at $150. You'll also get a chance to see her newest paintings and have fun digging through some of her older stuff at bargain prices.

"31 Days in July" 2006
For the 4th consecutive year, Dana Ellyn has created one new painting per day in response the the daily news - capturing each day of July in a total of 31 unique paintings.

Mural at the Warehouse
Dana Ellyn (along with fellow artist, Matt Sesow) painted a mural on the outside wall of the Warehouse Downtown Arts Complex (at 7th & L Street, NW) as part of the Capital Fringe Festival.

They began painting at 3pm on July 21st and finish on July 22nd (with a break during the wee-hours of the night/morning). As the sun came up, they were putting the finishing touches on their mural.

Studio One Eight presents "The Art of War." The exhibit marks the 3-year anniversary of the Iraqi conflict that began on March 20th 2003. The show brings together works inspired by the conflict and current events of the middle east. The exhibit will includes artwork by artists Dana Ellyn, Anna U.
