July 1, 2006:
Elvis Lives

The Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi visits Graceland with President Bush.

"Elvis Lives" is a portrait of P.M. Koizumi dressed as Elvis in honor of the National Portrait Gallery's grand re-opening (in Washington DC) on July 1st after 6 1/2 years of renovations. Also, Koizumi is a huge Elvis fan, he even has a CD entitled "My Favorite Elvis Songs". While at Graceland, he broke in to song, serenading Lisa Marie.
