Everyday. Always. is a figurative painting of the artist (Dana Ellyn) at work in my studio. Painted in 2026 and inspired by a photograph of me in my former studio from 2002.
That was the space where I made the decision to leave the corporate world and commit fully to painting.
This new work is about that moment — the discipline, the risk, the leaning forward.
Not a hobby. Not a phase.
