Part of the Anxietyland series — amusement park rides as anxiety made visible. The carousel goes around and around, never arriving anywhere. The rider holds on. The horse screams for both of them. Inspired in part by a merry-go-round song the artist sang as a child at her father's piano, its innocent lyrics carrying meanings she wouldn't understand until decades later.
