Part of the Anxietyland series — amusement park rides as anxiety made visible. The same ride, a different rider. Quieter this time, but the horse hasn't changed. The series draws on the artist's earliest memories of carousel imagery — a song her father wrote about going up and down and trying to catch the golden ring, sung together at the family piano before she understood what the words really meant.
