About the show

410 GooDBuddY turns ten

410 GooDBuddY opened its first show in May 2009. In September 2019 it marked ten years with an anniversary show and an opening party on Friday, September 13. The space is run by Kendall Dorman of Wiebenson & Dorman Architects PC and his wife, JT Roy.

In the gallery’s words: “410 GooDBuddY is an exhibition space that can be used by artists to exhibit their works. It is within the FRINJ neighborhood of Washington DC and is made possible through support by Wiebenson & Dorman Architects PC whose studio shares the building.”

The invitation read: “Since 2009 410 GooDBuddY has provided a venue for artists and their art – painting, sculpture, music, poetry, pottery, jewelry, fashion, books, yoga, movies and dance. Please join us for an evening and a look back.”

In the photos, the walls are marked by year, and the labels give the dates of earlier shows. Work by Dana Ellyn and Matt Sesow hangs in the 2015 section, under a label for their April 17, 2015 show.
