October 27: Corcoran Art Fair - As a member of the Corcoran's Artist Directory, I will exhibiting and selling my artwork from 11am - 5pm. It is a tented event on the lawn of the Corcoran Museum on New York Avenue between 17th & 18th Streets, NW Washington, DC.
 
October 2002: Featured Artist on Get Underground (www.getunderground.com) "Get Underground is a sub-mainstream arts and culture community dedicated to the free expression of the creative global underground."

September 21st 2002: Arts On Foot - I will be exhibiting and selling a large number of paintings, photographs and sculptures. Arts on Foot is downtown Washington's free festival of art, music, theatre, dance, film, and food. Arts on Foot will take place on F Street, NW between 7th and 9th Sts, in front of the National Portrait Gallery and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. There is no charge to attend.
 
August 7-11 2002: LadyFest DC OPENING RECEPTION: August 8th 7pm-9pm at DCAC (2438 18th Street, NW) LadyFest DC is a non-profit, community-based event designed by and for women to showcase, celebrate and encourage women's artistic, political and organizational achievements. www.ladyfestdc.org

June 22nd 2002: June Market at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. Dana will be selling her bowls, painted photographs, Platypeople and other artwork at the June Market from 11am-5pm in the Sculpture Barn of the American Visionary Art Museum. Click here for directions.
 
June 3rd 2002: One of Dana's Platypeople and her photograph "Leaf x3" will be part of a silent auction at the Corcoran Gallery of Art to benefit "Suited for Change".

February 1st through 28th 2002:One of Dana's photographs, "Leaf x3" will be on exhibit at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The National Press Club is located on the 13th floor of the National Press Building at 14th & F Streets.
 

Studio Show at studio b - February 2nd 2002
Collectively, artists Dana Ellyn Kaufman, Michael Mansfield, Matt Sesow and Christine Bartoletta, will be holding and open studio and sale at studio b to exhibit their work. This is a unique opportunity to meet the artists and view their current works featuring photography, painting, sculpture and jewelry.
The show will be February 2nd, open from noon until 7pm. studio b is located at 1327 Naylor Court, NW in Washington DC. Naylor Court is a small street just off of "O" between 9th and 10th (there are 2 entrances to Naylor Court, use the entrance closer to 9th Street).

Recently Announced: Photographs ("Red, White & Blue" and "Summer Vacation") Selected for purchase by DCCAH (District of Columbia Commission of Arts and Humanities) for their Art Bank.
Art Bank is DCCAH's movable collection of works purchased from local artists that is loaned to District Government agencies for display in reception areas, conference rooms, and the offices of Cabinet-level officials.
